Associate - Amanda J. McKechnie

Amanda McKechnie (amckechnie@smymlaw.com)  attended the University of Arizona, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in 1996. She attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, graduating with a J.D. in 1999. Ms. McKechnie has worked with the California Commission on Athletics, the Sacramento County Public Defender and with Community Legal Services. She was admitted to the California Bar in 1999 and is a member of the State Bar of California, Sacramento County Bar Association and the American Subcontractors Association, Capital City Chapter. Ms. McKechnie volunteers extensively throughout the Sacramento area with programs such as the Constitutional Rights Foundation Mock Trial Program and the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Practice focuses on construction defect and injury defense as well as education, general construction litigation and counseling.
